How to Make Salted Boletus Edulis

There are significant differences in light intensity and humidity at different densities. The occurrence of salted boletes requires a certain level of diffuse light; therefore, in dense forests with high tree density, the occurrence of boletes tends to be relatively reduced. Environmental purification for salted boletes: Use an inoculation room or an inoculation box, or perform inoculation under an inoculation tent. Pre-treatment of fungal strains: First, remove the cotton plug from the mouth of the fungal strain bottle. Then, wrap the bottle or bag in a plastic bag, transfer it into the inoculation room, and use an inoculation spatula to insert it into the bottle or bag containing the fungal strain.

Detailed introduction to salted boletus mushrooms

Salted boletes do not require light for growth, but the formation of fruiting bodies does necessitate some scattered light stimulation. Delicious boletes are often found in forest areas with a seven-yin-three-yang or semi-shaded, semi-sunny light regime. In such environments, vegetation is dense, shade is abundant, ditch edges are deep, and weeds rarely appear. Conversely, in areas with heavy canopy cover and little sunlight, where vegetation is sparse, fruiting bodies seldom develop. There are significant differences in the occurrence of fruiting bodies depending on varying degrees of canopy closure within the forest.

Characteristics and Processing Introduction of Dried Porcini Mushrooms

Dried porcini slices are a type of wild edible mushroom. With the exception of a few varieties that are either toxic or have a bitter taste and thus inedible, most porcinis are safe to eat. The main varieties include white, yellow, and black porcinis. Dried white porcini slices have a more delicate and delicious flavor and are rich in nutrients. The mushrooms are large in size, with thick flesh and sturdy stems; they have a sweet, palatable taste and are highly nutritious. In Western European countries, there is a widespread custom of consuming white porcini. Aside from being eaten fresh or added to vegetable dishes, most porcinis are sliced, dried, and processed into various small, internationally packaged products—used for making soups, as soy sauce concentrates, or even transformed into savory snacks.
