The common ones we all know Salted Boletus edulis It’s mushrooms—enoki mushrooms and golden needle mushrooms, right? Did you know about porcini mushrooms? They’re also a type of fungus that’s not only delicious but also incredibly nutritious. Yet, very few people are aware of them. There are roughly 14 different varieties of porcini mushrooms, including the well-known green and red mushrooms.

The white bolete, also known as the delicious bolete, grows in mixed pine-oak forests at altitudes ranging from 900 to 2,200 meters, or along the edges of forests that are about to be logged. Its growing season spans from late May to October each year. Growth is moderate, with more mushrooms appearing after rain followed by clear skies, making them relatively easy to harvest.

3. In addition, species such as the black bolete and the yellow chanterelle (black warted bolete) are also highly popular. With their delicious flavor, rich aroma, and high nutritional value, boletes are deeply loved by the public. Bolete mushrooms are found throughout Yunnan Province and typically grow from June to October each year.
